BUENA VISTA BABY
This will be the second year in a row for a JCCA Jeepster Commando Event. We will have scheduled trails and trail bosses. The camp site is 4 mile North of Buena Vista on the West side and backs up the majestic 14,000 ft. Collegiate Peaks.
Bring the family, there are tons of things to do. Antique Shopping Leadville, White Water Rafting the Arkansas River,Many great Hot Spring Spas, Historic Fairplay and the ORIGINAL SOUTH PARK and lots lots more.
Special Event shirts will be available as well.

We have blocked off 10 RV and tent sites already for this the event. We are being given a special 10% rate. Please mention this at time of booking and they will apply.
We have sites 1-7 and T-12 to13 reserved now. There are some cabins available as well.

Buena Vista is VERY popular and the parks are already getting reserved. You can always get a refund if you don't go later.
Here is tentitive trail plans. We'll will make changes as needed do to weather,rigs and desires.
Saturday: Built rigs (D) Iron Chest: stockers (E) Baldwin Lake Both parties meet at 2pm and proceed to St. Elmo, over Tin Cup to Taylor park and return via Cottonwood pass. pot luck 6-8 in pavillion.
9pm: Night run Mt. Princeton (M) 11k for star show popcorn and Hot chocolate.
Sunday: Built rigs: (D) Iron Mike Greg trail boss, river crossing, Stockers Mosquito Pass 13000 ft. Hopefully all meet at Tomken for tour of facilities around 3pm 6-8 pot luck pavillion
Monday: Built Rigs D/Extreme) ChinaMan Trail/ Carnage Canyon Stockers: Mt. Zion loop possible Hot Springs Trip and "show and Shine and calender pics"
Tuesday: Built Rigs: (D) Iron Chest Stockers: 4 mile Trail

We will be giving away some nice prizes.
There is going to be an advance registration fee when we get finalized of $2O per person. That will be going to a BBQ/Pop/Dessert. I have the Pavillion booked for both Saturday and Sunday. It is 1600 Sq. ft. and has event sized Grill. We will use the registration fee for those purposes.
