well im lookin into buying my grandpa's jeep (1990 wrangler yj)
im gonna lift it and beef it up and put some money into it.
im making it my toy for about the next 30 years lol.
well wat im wantin to ***
start from ground up i figure start w/ axles cuz if u want to lift it best have axles that u can fit to the suspension the first time around
then ive been lookin at the Black Diamond 7" lift for the jeep
after that im gonna trim up the fenders to squeez on 38's hopefully (lift fits 37 without mods)
other then that im gonna put in a v8 (probably a small block 350)if not a inline 6
sooo....
the help i need is..
wat axles should i get. i want bigger but not heavy as ***
im thinkin dana 60's i dont mind the wide wheel base i can fit the suspension to it. i dont really want to shorten up the axles.
and the suspension i know what im gettin.

well anyhooter. after readin this tell me if you have ANY suggestions
thanks for your time much appreciated.

*** this rig will be made for WASHINGTON trails and serious mud

Easy, no brainer.
With a YJ its cake. Go to the junk yard and get a D60 for the front and a GM14 blot for the rear. Add some disk to the 14'r, you can get a kit off ebay ready to go and cheap. Of course you will have to get the axles set up for your springs and so on but then thats the fun part!
