I can't find this part anywhere online partly because I have no clue as to what it is. I need to replace it ASAP as my 2000 TJ nearly vibrates off of the road when I hit 55mph. This if in the front wheel well and both sides are like this one. It looks to me like something is missing that should connect the two.

That there be your front sway bar end link. Look on ebay. I personally just listed a set and they commonly sell for around $10 for the set. And YES, it should be connected. That little ball is supposed to be secured inside that boot area, similar to a ball joint. They are very easy to replace. There is one bolt in the top of the sway bar (That thing connecting the two broken pieces) and one bolt through at the bottom right of the picture connecting it to the axle. It would take about 30 minutes to swap them out. Hope this helps.

BTW, the ebay user name is JDJeepparts and if you just enter the words TJ front sway bar end links It should pop right up.

Thank you! I really need to replace these tomorrow. It's definately not a safe ride the way it is now. Now I know what to ask for at the counter.
Thanks again.
