Anybody done it in your garage? I cant seem to turn loose 7 or 8K for somebody to do it for me. I have a FREE 9" from a truck (3" tube and heavy 3rd member)just lying here. What problems should I look out for if I start building it? Would D44 outers be a better fit for the 31 spline 3rd member? I plan on running hydro assist steering with 36" or 38" in rubber. ALL I do is rock crawling. It will go into a 91 YJ sprung over, stock 4.0,auto tranny, NP231 Ford 9" rear with 35 spline axles. Would a 31 spline front be a weak link? should I match the rear drivetrain in terms of spline count? Hazel made it look fairly easy when he made his "Hazel 60" What to do, What to do?
